it's been said a few times this year, but i think the Atlanta Braves have one of the best outfields (offensively and defensively) w/ Jones, Jones, and Sheffield. Andruw has had 3 gold gloves i believe and only been playing for about 5 years, and he's still getting better. Chipper and Sheff have potential to get gold gloves but will each hit at least 30 hr's this year.

The best outfield ever? thats a tough one, someone already mentioned the NY outfields of the '50s, you can pick any one of those,
but there have been some other great outfields,
the Cardinals of the mid '80s with Vince Coleman Andy Van Slyke and Willie McGee
the Pirates of the early '90s with Barry Bonds Andy Van Slyke and Bobby Bonilla
currently, yes the Braves outfield is great, but dont forget Seattle with Randy Winn Mike Cameron and Ichiro
and if we ever get a chance to see them all play a whole season together, the Reds outfield of Adam Dunn Ken Griffey Jr. and Austin Kearns could be one of the best, the production out those guys could be scary.

I think the post is asking for us to name 3 specific players that played together on the same team.

Good Question, hadn't thought about it much. Did like that Blue Jays outfield. Braves outfield this year is pretty good. trying to think of outfields that stayed together a few years and produced consistently.

I am pretty sure that Tony Armas Jr is the son of Tony Armas, I remember him better with the Red Sox, but he did have some excellent years with the A's, strong arm, good power and struck out a lot. That A's outfield was pretty good too, but Murphy kind of faded, if I remember right.

Thinking of the Red Sox made me think of Jim RIce, Fred Lynn and Dwight Evans, pretty solid.
