Whatever happened to their 2nd baseman, Rondell Scott? He was a feared speedster that year, then he just disappeared.

Rodney, ya, that's right. too bad he wasn't around longer, there were some years where all the Expos were missing was a good 2b, I remember they even tried Raines there at one time.
Well I hope Scott didn't go the way of Alan Wiggins.

I think the question is total outfield. Mays/Mantle/Snider were great center-fielders but I doubt many can even name the great right and left fielders who played with these guys.

Because of what Mantle and Maris did in 61, you have to consider that one of the best OFs of all-time, though the frag if I know who the LF was.

Personally I'm going with the variations of the Detroit Tigers outfield from the late teens of Ty Cobb, Bobby Veach, Harry Heilman and Sam Crawford.

Yah Ellis Valentine, Raines actually came up as a second basemen, Jerry White got traded to the Cubs at some point, might have been involved in the Rodney Scott trade. Scott had a couple of good years, in that era, it was assumed most guys had problems with cocaine when their careers flamed out, don't know if that is the case with Scott.
