    What is all the BS I'm hearing about Matsui not elligible for ROY??

    Jayson Stark came out with an article about how Matsui doesn't deserve to win the Rookie of the Year award, which is bunch of malarky. If he's not elligible, you better take away all the Japanases players' ROY awards.
    If Matsui doesn't win it this season, that would be another example of anti-Yankee bias.
    You want to implement the "new" ROY rules, you better do it after Matsui has won it this season.
    He's undoubtledy the ROY, this year.

      oh please, this has nothing to do with "anti-yankee" bias. These are the same people who said Ichiro shouldn't have won the award (and neither of them should have).

                              Would someone like to tell my why Japanese players who come over to the US shouldn't win ROY? Is it because they have been playing professional baseball for however many years?

                                          I think that's why they shouldn't be allowed to... I mean it's true, they truely AREN'T rookies, they have been prefessionals in another continent, so why be a rookie here? I mean I understand that everything here's different, catching onto the American style of stuff, and they have to catch on just like the rookies, but they are NOT rookies, and Matsui shouldn't be able to get a ROTY award. Neither should've Ichiro.

                                                      If you have given it to Jap. players in the past, the least you could is maintain consistency. You want to change the rules, do it BEFORE the season, Not halfway or by the end.
