I think the Cardinals could've asked for a Padre reliever in that trade. We have too many guys in the pen and some knocking at the door already. I was surprised it only took Corey Kluber for the Padres to get Ludwick but Ludwick has played at the level worth that price.

Yeah I was shocked we didn't go for a reliever with it, would've made the trade better.

As it stands neither side of the deal is being very productive for us, Luddy is struggling at the plate for you (not sure how hes doing in the field but I'd assume good as usual) and Westbrook is sucking it up on the mound for us.

Hoping he turns it around, he was my favorite Cardinal so I'm still pulling for him to do well in San Diego.
