I assumed he did to the front office but it is only an assumption.

Re: Felix Hernandez
Zimmerman is prolly the best defensive 3rd baseman i've seen, granted i've only watched baseball for maybe 6 years and I know he kills the Marlins offensively and the rest of his stats are good.
Strasburg will be fine assuming he puts in the necessary work in his rehab. Josh Johnson had TJ surgery and came back better then anyone could have imagined, along with a few others and each one has said putting in the required work in rehab is key. My only concern with Strasburg is with how fast he throws the ball and his delivery that seems to put more pressure then is needed on his armSaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: Felix Hernandez
I take it none of you have seen Beltre play a whole heck of a lot. I'm not even being bias, as he doesn't even play for the M's (anymore). The only players that come close are the aforementioned Zimmerman, and Evan Longoria. He is literally a human vacum down there at 3rd, and I've never seen anybody make the bare handed play better than him, and he's won a couple gold gloves, so I'm not the only one that has that oppinion about him. Zimmerman is fine defensively, but I think Beltre is a notch above him. Ok, I'll admit I may be a tad bit bias since he is my favorite non-Mariners player. However, I have seen enough of him, and heard announcers, and analyst namely from other teams say that he is the best defensively they've seen since George Brett. I don't want to go that far, but I know I'm not alone in that oppinion.Comment

False. Noone does the barehanded play better then Zimmerman, but i'm not even gonna go into this arguement cause it's pointless toSaints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: Felix Hernandez
Also, if any of you have read some of the thing's I have said about the M's, including on other forums. You would know, I don't always have a positive homoristic view on all Mariners players. For inatnce, I think Ryan Langerhans is complete garbage, when he isn't walking to 1st. And I never thought I'd see the day when Jose Lopez wasn't a Mariner anymore. I'm also not that high on David Aardsma, or Chone Figgins; who I'd trade for a bucket of balls, and some extra pine tar at this point. The only players I am really all that high on are King Felix, Ichiro, Michael Pineda, Justin Smoak, and Franklin Gutierrez, and I will defend Guti being the best defensive CF in the game to the death. But other than them I think this team is a lost cause for the next couple of years, oh and I forgot Dustin Ackley, who we should call up just so we will have a reason to watch the games when Felix or Pineda aren't pitching.Comment

Re: Felix Hernandez
I could easily say the same thing to you. I say one thing, and pass it off as an oppinion, and you post with a countradicting oppinion, and pass it off as factual. It's a double edged sword, and borderline hipacritical, when you're telling me to stop, when essentually you're doing the same thing. It's not as if I'm trying to pass on an oppinion that has no merit, or is in the extreme minority. Many people around the game of baseball would agree in regards to my oppinion of Beltre. Since he leads all of baseball in most of the defensive metrics the last couple of seasons. But I guess we'll agree to disagree, and leave it at that.Comment
