Rays up 3-2 at Fenway heading into the 9th. Hold on for one more inning and you win the series.

And Farny slams the door on the Sawks in the 9th for the save.

          Yay baseball!

Pineda looking good so far against the Jays, throwing 98-99, and made Bautista look overmatched blowing some serious gas by him. I my as well skip through all the borring offensive stuff and just watch this kid pitch.

Cardiac Royals at it again. 3-3 going into the late innings.

Yep, only way to stay interested during a crappy season. Had Peavy and a less bone-headed Oliver Perez in 2002. Baseball sucks when your team is terrible and there's no young talent... like the 2008 Padres.

Well I can tell Pineda's changeup is a work in progress, threw it at 91 MPH, that's a bit too fast, would like to see it around the 85-86 MPH range. But it did have some good movement though, so that is a good sign.

Should I call mlb.tv to see what's up?..I looked at the blackout restrictions put my area code in and it only had the Royals as being blocked out in my area...As you know I want to see the Cardinals, so should I give them a call?

                            Pujols has a hit today...

Carp looks off...2 walks, a HBP, and several hits strung together in the first few innings. Snakes are making good on their chances to score in this one.

He's in trouble again in the 3rd...

Cubs still scuffling along, down 7-1 in the 8th.

He hasn't been right in the first 3 starts so far. Just hanging stuff left and right. Put one right over the middle to Upton and he crushed it. Plus he couldn't find the zone early on. Really tough to watch.

But, Lance Berkman has been tearing the cover off the ball lately. 3 HRs in the last 2 games. So glad to the Cards got him.

3 hitless innings so far for Pineda against a good hitting Jays team.
