    Bar none?

Come on, man... Pineda is pitching very well in his young career, but let's not get crazy here.

Well that sucked Pineda ran out of gas at around the `100 pitch mark, and gave up a 2 run single after an Olivo passed ball, that he for some reason or another got crossed up on, and it looked like it could have been called a strike too. .

Great unconventional DP to get out of it, after Patrerson tagged on a foul out, and nice throw by Smoak to Olivo. Patterson should have ran Olivo over, but who can blaim him for not trying, there is a bit of a size discrempancy there.

              Jays lose again

At least Romero saved the pen with his CG.

Is there a better 1/2 punch than Weaver/Haren? I know some would say Halladay/Lee (and someone on here would say Hernandez/Pineda ), but if starting a team I think I'd take them over any other 1/2 out there. Both are young and are both #1 type pitchers. I don't know what Arizona was doing trading Haren for Saunders.

And a Marcus Thames sighting...Dodgers tie it up.

I don't care about the Mariners, Rays, etc., but the Padres have had the most frustrating offense since 2004. Son of gun guys, really? Bases loaded, runners in scoring position, less than two outs, and you come away with a big doughnut? I have not seen a team worse at driving in runs than the Padres.

Minus 2008-09, the Dodgers are right there with ya.

NL West offenses: getting on base, but never scoring.

Reds scored 6 runs in the 11th including a 3 run center field shot by Stubbs to lead 8-2 over Padres

to think the inning began by routine fly balls by Votto and Rolen. this was all 2 out magic

What a game! We had some amazing D tonight. Man, Massett is really struggling, hope he gets things work out real quick.

no question. the defense is what really saved our asses tonight. great game, intense extra innings. but i think the intensity turned into sighs of relief after that 3 run homer lol

Yeah Cordero usually makes things interesting, you never quite know how he's going to pitch.
