Alex Gordon is on fire. I'll be honest: I gave up on him last season. Mad props to Alex for doing work in the offseason to bounce back and start showing off why he was so highly touted.

Alex Gordon just hosed Marson at the plate, Pena blocked it so well he came up like three feet short on the slide.

Just call the Cards game already, it's a 2 hour plus rain delay...

Edit: And it's done. Rescheduling info to come.

I'm starting to really like this Alex Gordon guy.

EDIT: Joakim Soria has to be injured or something. He hasn't pitched like himself all season.

I'm going to have gray hair by the time I'm 30 if I keep watching these Royals games. Goodness. Soria doesn't like pitching in the cold, I think.

Also, Alex Gordon is the MVP of the team right now. Wow.

Really hoping that's all it is. I'm gonna cry if he pitches like this all season. ha

Francona ejected in the 4th inning after arguing with the ump over a balk call.

His career numbers in the "cold" months (April/Sept) are ridiculously good though.

Beachy is holding his own vs. the Dodgers so far.

May is colder than September in Kansas City.

Regardless, I don't really think cold has anything to do with it. Yeah, he looks miserable out there in the cold, but it was warm for White Sox game and that was his worst game all year. Still think he's hurt, because no matter what the weather is, he hasn't been himself all season.

OHHH YEAH BABY! What a great game!

That's the kinda game the Jays needed and what a story for Travis Snider as he was a picture of frustration all game until he drove in the winning run.

Oh and it's always great to see an opposing closer get a blown save but doing it against Mo Rivera? That's even sweeter!

And yet our offense continues to do it's best Seattle Mariners impression...I'm ready for them to start hitting anytime now.
