Acta made some stupid decisions in that game too. He never should have let Masterson come back out for the 7th. Tribe dodged a bullet there.

Yeah that was pretty shocking, the announcers on the Royals TV broadcast were convinced that Masterson was done after throwing 15 pitches in something like 50 minutes because of the long top halves of the sixth and seventh innings.

I really hope KC can win tomorrow, I would have taken a split before the series got started.

Jered Weaver... perennial AL Cy Young-caliber pitcher. Matt Bush... perennial bust of all time. Thanks for not putting aside your "no Scott Boras clients" policy Moores.

So I didn't know anything about this Matt Bush guy and wikipedia'd him...

Yea....guess I feel your pain man....definitely a move that set the Pads back. Now I can see your disdain in watching Weaver tear it up...

Not just Weaver, even with their no Scott Boras policy, what aboout Verlander? I know he threw an illegal pitch, but it's better than fighting a bouncer, bullying a lacrosse team, or trying to throw a baseball at a girl's head.

Yea...Verlander was another horrible oversight as well.

I read on uniwatch that the opposing team that faces LA during their throwback games will also be wearing their throwbacks so it should be a real eye opener on Thursdays

The Mets could not have tried harder to lose that game...just...wow. This team isn't THIS bad.

Nothing is going right for the Mets. No one is hitting other then Reyes and their pitching is god awful.

Its so frustating watching this team right now.

I hope this is like last season and the Braves are just having a terrible April. If they continue to play like this all season, then it's going to be a very long season. They have to be one of the lowest scoring teams right now.

Scott Linebrink is quickly becoming one of my least favorite guys to see coming out of the 'pen...guy is a gopher ball machine.

I know Linebrink hasn't been as good as he was for the Padres since he was traded to Milwaukee I believe, but it's kind of surprising how poorly he's doing now.

This ninth inning has been awesome... and there are some smokin' hot chicks behind the backstop too. At least one more half-inning of the three B's... Braves, baseball, and babes!

I think he was safe man. I'm glad an umpire actually looks at the play the right way instead of just having an itchy trigger finger.
