Remember when we were talking about the oddity of the Cubs record being 1-1, then 2-2, then 3-3, and so on through (I think) 10-10? Those were good times.

Not quite the same stat, but that reminds me of something I saw when looking at Royals stats the other day.
Royals ER allowed in the first: 20
Royals ER allowed in the second: 1Comment

Man, Bautista has truly become one of the most dangerous hitters around. Strong at bat and hits one out on another full count.Comment

I was just about to post about Bautista, not only is he great with the bat but he does all the little things right. A great example of that was his slide to home on Brett Gardner's throw to the plate. I tell ya if Bautista played anywhere in the US he'd be talked about to no end.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

All the trade talk last year and over the winter really irked me to no end. All over the fan590 and on TV it was like: what are you going to get in hi place?!?!? like who's better? What could you possibly gain by trading him?
and all that crap about a lucky year...yeah because you just luck into being mlb player of the month 2 months in a row ande play extremely well all season....
IMO he's still a BARGAIN.
we've got a very good team, I think we just need another ace...even though I keep hearing we need anther bat...we need better pitching consistently.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment
