I agree. Only National Geographic comes close in my opinion.
Also, David Herndon sent to AAA Lehigh Valley. I need to celebrate. The Phillies bullpen has been "ok" - but if you take him out they have been pretty good. He had something like 11 ER and the rest of the bullpen had 9 combined at one point. (Don't know the exact #'s)
Getting J.C, Romero back helps too, so now they don't have to overuse Antonio Bastardo.

Re: 5/2 - 5/8 Game Discussion Thread
First off, belated congrats to Francisco Liriano, when he came into the league I thought this guy had the stuff to be the next Johan Santana for that ballclub. It hasn't quite turned out that way so far in his career but he's still young enough at 27 that maybe last night might be a turning point for him.
Speaking of No-Hitters the Jays will be relying on a guy with No-Hitter capability in Brandon Morrow to get the victory today. I sure as hell hope Rauch or anyone else in the pen don't blow this game if they have the lead in the late innings.
Jose Bautista's neck problem is thankfully only muscle related and there's no structural damage but the Jays are being wary and he's out til they come back home.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

The nice thing is that he's developed a change to partially make up for the loss of velocity and break he's experienced since the surgery. For some reason the guy gets a lot of flack from some Twins fans. They seem to forget how quiet of a nice year he had last year. He started all season and only gave up 5 home runs. His pitch counts do tend to balloon, and he needs to realize that he doesn't have to strike everyone out. Last night he seemed to get makeups for all the breaks that hadn't gone his way in a couple of his early starts. Balls were finally hit on the ground at guys.
I hope his early season struggles are behind him.
EDIT: Twins sweep the short 2-game set against the Sux by a combined score of 4-2. Jason Kubel had 3 of the 4 RBI. I shudder when I think where this team would be without their Kube Cred.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 05-04-2011, 03:52 PM.Comment

A Little late I know but It's nice to see Pena show up. HR's in 2 Straight games, and I think they were against lefty's which is a good sigh since he struggles against lefty's.
