Hosmer is on his way to KC.

I would have liked to seen him come up a little later, but when you are hitting .430 in Triple-A, uh, guess there's nothing more to prove there.

I wonder if the Royals will push some of the other big prospects up ahead of schedule to take advantage of the strong start + weak division...

Makes KC better in my opinion. Good move to not wait (I really wish they'd get rid of the super 2, if you plan on calling a guy up for the current season, call him up, don't wait until you become irrelevant to your fanbase, especially if you're a small market team with nothing go for you, like the Padres).

I love the Tiger. Sweep the White Sox, then lose 7 straight to Seattle and Cleveland, then take 3 out of 4 from the Yankee's agaisnt their best starters.

I swear, the Tigers can play just as good as any team on any given night or over a week or so. But they can't play consistently, like they don't care or something. With just a little more focus they would easily win 90 games.

Agree with you 100% on the Super 2, I hate that small market teams have to take that into consideration when deciding when to bring up key prospects.

Couldn't agree more. Super-2 is nice in theory, but it's absolute crap in practice. I would be surprised if they don't address it in some way in the next CBA.
