The most amazing thing is what we've been able to do in the absence of offense. Utterly shocking. If the team wakes up (well, gets healthy first) offensively.....that's gonna be scary.

Marlins suck and now will just suck with Hanley back tomm, I think he'll comeback as his normal self as he was banged up the entire season it seemed do the rest was good for him, but other guys need to hit with RISP

Sox travel to Tampa Bay for Crawford's return and then welcome the Brewers to town to finish off the week. Hopefully the offense can keep rolling.

Mets playing Pirates tonight with a win bringing them to .500 - hey its a start...hopefully they didn't exhaust all their run support for their pitchers with that big inning yesterday

Jeter needs 7 hits for 3,000 and Rivera needs 15 saves for 600 so Jeter can get his 3,000 this week possibly at home if he can get 2 hits a game between today and Thursday and I think Rivera will get 3-5 saves on the week to get closer to 600 and soon after that break Hoffman's record... would love both to reach these milestones and in Rivera's case break a MLB record in the Bronx but I wouldn't suggest Girardi resting either to do so.

Off today then the Cards are in DC to take on the Nats for 3, then they return home for a 3 game set against the Royals who always give us a headache.

Starting pitching needs to get back on track, too many short outings over the past 3 weeks is overworking the bullpen, hopefully the starters can go deep into games this week to get the pen some much needed rest. Sounds like Holliday might be back as early as Thursday, if so that will be a big boost we need his bat back in a bad way, I just hope they aren't rushing him back like they did last time when he ended up aggravating the injury and missed more time.

4 against the Cubbies in Wrigley to start the week, then it's on to Boston to start Interleague play.

Cool week. Wrigley and Fenway.

I hope to still be in first at the end of this week, but for some reason I doubt it. I don't care how bad the Cubs are.

off to Hollywood for 3 against the Dodgers and then back home to play 3 against Toronto

hopefully Bruce heats back up. hasn't hit a home run in like a week and none of our players hit a home run in 5 games
