Also gotta say, as much of a Sox fan as I am, I can't stand the way Youkilis acts. He's worse than a small child when a call doesn't go his way, even when he's obviously wrong. I've never really liked him, and if not for his production and glove work, i'd hate him.

Have to agree with this one. If he wasn't a good/key player for the team I'd root for, I would definitely hate him. As of now, though, he just annoys me greatly.

It also bothers me how much the dude ****ing sweats. No one should have to step out of the batter's box because there's too much sweat dripping in his eyes.

lol...yeah, I don't get all the sweating. It's crazy, and it seems to start before he even does anything. I'm not bothered by Youk's antics or over-intensity though, mainly because I think they work for the team...it seems to get guys fired up. I admittedly might be weird though, as I think I'm the only Red Sox fan who ever liked Paul O'Neil.

Actually, I often wonder how many Yankee fans who hate Youk, loved O'Neil as he was pretty much the same guy in that sense. It's certainly different when it's for your team though, and either way, I certainly understand why people would be bothered by those types of players in general.

Really, the only current player I can't stand is Lackey (performance vs compensation mainly).

Yeah...I see your point, he certainly does. A lot of players do. I think, for me at least, there was once a hope that Dice-K could perform at a high level. I'm okay with taking a chance on greatness. It failed, I got over it. I NEVER wanted Lackey on the team...lol....so that's why it bugs me more, I guess.

I felt the same way for the longest about Drew, but I calmed myself by looking at the fact that he did get a couple big hits in their 07 run and there's only so much he can do to muck things up. I resigned myself to his suckiness. Lackey, however, as a pitcher, can ruin an entire game all by himself (We only have to look as far back as yesterday to see that).

I can agree with both of these paragraphs. I think Dice-K bothers me more than Lackey, though, because they spent 50 million just to talk to him, and then in all of his years here it doesn't seem like he's even attempted to become part of the team/culture/learn English or anything like that.

Also, I don't hate Drew as much anymore, as he hit a pinch-hit, game-winning home run for me in The Show this morning to send the Sox to the ALCS.

Prince Fielder and Ryan Braun, so cocky and annoying. Punks. Maybe it's just because I hate the Brewers.

Others I'd have to add would probably be Alfonso Soriano, Jason Varitek, Jon Papelbon, Yadier Molina, A.J. Pierznyski, Miguel Cabrera (spelling?), Jayson Werth. All of them just irritate me.
