Love the deal for Baltimore. Davis immediately becomes the heir at first (if they don't pursue Fielder in the off season), and Hunter is a above average arm that could start.

Orioles are looking to move DLee, who will not start the doubleheader after leaving in the 8th of the first game:

That's what I was thinking...I recall him skipping ST sessions because it was too hot out.

          Brown's second yr:

          .246 .335 .393 .728

Plus as an outfielder in the last 2 years, Brown has 5 errors and 1 assist in the equivalent of 63 - 9 inning games. And I'm gonna bet there were probably some plays where he was given the benefit of the doubt and he was spared an error.

In his first 2 years, Utley had 7 errors in the equivalent of 80 games as a 2B.

In the last 2 years, Ibanez has 7 assists and 3 errors in almost 240 complete games.

I'm not sayin' the kid is horrible, but if he's a liability in the OF at a time when they need pitching and fielding to help another possible future batting drought, I would rather have received something for him when he's considered to have a lot of upside.

If you want to make a word doc of everything that has happened, I will paste it into the first post.

I personally dont have time or the desire to go through it all.

Well, I am going to watch Ubaldo pitch tonight so I hope he doesn't get traded and pulled before then...

The more I think about it, the more I don't like this trade. It is very similar to the deal the Rangers made in the past getting Otsuka and Eaton for Chris Young and Adrian Gonzalez.

Gonzalez the young 1st baseman that had struggled to live up to the hype at the big league level, and Chris Young the solid starter that had shown signs of greatness. Those two descriptions almost fit perfectly with Hunter and Davis.

.....and look how that trade turned out for the Rangers.

I don't hate the trade the Tigers made to get Fister and Pauley, but not overly thrilled about it to be honest. This defiantly gives them a leg up to win the division, but it still isn't enough to give them a legitimate shot against the likes of New York and Boston in the playoffs. Not to mention the park that Fister and Pauley pitched in with Seatle, makes their numbers less impressive to me. Than again both are signed until 2015, so it isn't like their contribution to the Tigers is limited to a one year only.

                    Kuroda staying with Dodgers.

Kuroda told #Dodgers he intends to remain with them for the rest of the season.

Hiroki Kuroda has told the team that he does not expect to waive his no-trade clause and remain with the #Dodgers this season

I think the Rockies are asking way to much for a guy who had one good season.
