One of the worst calls in the history of baseball. Play at the plate. Lugo was clearly tagged out and called safe.

He hit a grounder to Alvarez, who went home with hit and McKenry tagged the runner before he got to the plate. It was an obvious call. Apparently the ump was ready to go home.

What idiocy by the Pirates to let Schafer take second, too. That would have been a GIDP. Would have been anyway since Proctor fell running out of the box.

Just a horrible way for that game to end. Unacceptable. What's it gonna take to get some damn instant replay?

Yeah that call was incredible. That was a call from an ump that wanted to go home. I hope he hears more of it tomorrow, err later today.

THE worst call I have ever seen. He didn't even touch home yet and the ump called him safe!

lol that's just the first tag. Half a second later Lugo got tagged again higher up still before he hit the plate.

Awful way for a game to end, but as a Braves fan I'll take it.

That is like some of the plays at home where the Braves were called out during the Reds series where the tag was never made.
