    arod put on waviers

    i heard on pti that he was put on waviers this has probaley alreay been posted sorry i never post in here but just asking does anyone know where i could find a article about it

    I heard on the radio the other day (kornheiser show I think) that AROD has been put on waivers a bunch of times this season. I'm not really sure what the reason is for doing this (maybe it frees up a spot on the 25 or 40 man roster for TX?), but it doesn't really mean anything, since TX knows no one will claim him off waivers because of that ridiculous contract.

I'm not really sure what the reason is for doing this (maybe it frees up a spot on the 25 or 40 man roster for TX?), but it doesn't really mean anything, since TX knows no one will claim him off waivers because of that ridiculous contract.

                      That would be hilarious if a team like Boston or NY picked him up. (wouldn't happen because of Jeter/Nomar.

                            Then the Rangers would take ARod off and negotiate with the interested team.

                            Yes, the Rangers realize that ARod is the key to their success, but almost everyone in baseball is put on waivers. You just don't hear about it.
