I'd take the extra money in an instant. I just question players who can get traded to a playoff team and still earn the same money yet turn the deal down. I don't mean to point fingers but... *cough*Palmiero*cough*. Nah, I understand where Palmiero was coming from about Texas being his home and all. I just hate hearing people call A-Rod money hungry and doesn't care about winning. If you say you would not take that contract you are a monk or a damn liar.
