Carmona pitches his *** off, Indians win, Tigers lose, and we're now 2 games out of the lead.

Better for the Yankees to get screwed by the umps compared to other teams getting screwed playing against the Yanks or Sox.

Jays are playing HR ball tonight so far. All their runs have come via the long ball. Nice to see Lind hit one out as it's been quite a while for him.

Did Casper Wells get hit on the shoulders before the face? Mitch Williams kept saying he did.

And the Rangers are running away with the AL West.

20 games over .500 and 7 games over the Angels

Gotta make sacrifices to get Drew Butera's hot bat in the lineup.

                              .464 OPS ftw!

It still amazes me that there are fans willing to defend his being on a major league roster. I swear, Twins fans are some of the most clueless and brain washed in all of sports. Does any fanbase buy the "good guy do the little things yada yada great defender blah blah blah company line" crap more? Ozzie Smith in his prime couldn't make up for being that pathetically worthless offensively. Bill Smith is a moron, it's the only logical explanation.

                              Rant off.

Ya, I don't get how a guy like that keeps a job. There are a ton of guys in the minors who can play solid defense and hit better than that.

On another note, Chipper takes Lincecum yard. Always love seeing a Chipper homer...there aren't many left in that bat.
