    Sheesh his name is Steve Bartman......sounds fishy to me but whatever.

    Kinda ironic that he's a "huge cubs fan" and yet he's being blamed for this loss. I think the Cubs franchise and Wrigley field needs an exorcism.

          Dammit, why cant they just leave this guy alone. He did not lose the game for the Cubs.

          I pray to god that the Cubs win today so this mans life can return to normal athen he'll be considered as yesterdays news.

                No the Cubs know Prior and the defense blew it. The fan had the right to that ball and Alou wouldn't have caught it anyway. They just don't want to take the blame for it is all. I'm sure that the fan made Alex Gonzalez drop the ball out of his glove and made Prior give up 4 runs.

                  No the Cubs know Prior and the defense blew it. The fan had the right to that ball and Alou wouldn't have caught it anyway. They just don't want to take the blame for it is all. I'm sure that the fan made Alex Gonzalez drop the ball out of his glove and made Prior give up 4 runs.

                            Actually on Sportscenter the replay showed Alou had his glove right under the guys hand, so it was almost a given that he would have caught it. Obviously, the team you root for has no bearing on your judgment of this game does it?
