Re: Identity of Cub \"Super Fan\"

Has anyone seen the replay. I was just wondering how many people in the vicinity of that ball WERE NOT reaching for it. I willing to bet each one of the nearest people, and some who weren't even in good position were reaching for the ball OR ducking away from being hit by that hard @#@ ball. I believe that's just NATURAL human reactions...none of them were thinking "I better let Alou catch that".

Some of us say that we wouldn't have done the same...that's a very safe call, especially in hindsight, to make since we weren't there.

You do not have to be a big Cubs fan to take pleasure in the collapse of the Cardinals this year. It is a combination of their arrogant fans, their crybaby players, and the fact that a lineup with 4 all-stars (3 starters) finished 3rd in the NL's weakest division.

At least the Astros (and their fans) have a little class when they didn't win.

Yes and Cub fans are so much more civilized. And I know for sure the Cubs have no cry babies.(Not guys like Prior, Zambrano, Alou, Sosa or Lofton) I would rather sit in a crowd with arrogant fans then drunk [censored you naughty boy] fans like the ones in Wrigley.

I think you two are getting a little too offensive for this discussion.

I am looking forward so see how fans react to foul balls tonight. I am guessing they will scatter on anything remotely close to being in play. Should be entertaining either way.
