That is interesting. Hadn't heard that the Cubs were interested in him. Would be a solid 3/4 starter.

Curious to what the going rate for him is going to be but if we can get him cheaply, he would be a welcome addition.

Surprised at the amount of interest that Sveum is generating this year. Clearly his 12 or so games of managerial experience are too attractive to pass up.

I would have no problem with Sveum, heard good things about him.. other than francona though I prefer Maddux.
