LH - Chase Utley: Seen him his whole career and every hit and homer has been a privilege to watch
RH - Mike Trout : What I have seen from him is a good swing with good power that will surely get better and give him a tremendous batting career in baseball on top of his baserunning and fielding abilitiesPHILLIES

Mechanically is hard to go against Barry Bonds even though its probably tampered by roids. His swing was short and quick to the ball.
McGwire's mechanics were sound but I think people over look him because hes thought of as a big power guy.
Albert Pujols is textbook
I think some guys I just putting pretty swings out there instead of mechanics. Griffey Jr. had a pretty swing but mechanically sound it was not. Loopy, long, uppercut, pulled his head out. When his bat speed diminished he could no longer make up for those flawed mechanics.Comment

Obviously Jeter and Manny come to mind. Other's are Mark Grace, Olerud, Trout, Zobrist, etc. I really have a simple thought to hitting mechanics. It was always taught that way in college and seemed about the same when I experienced some time with MiLB players and a couple MLB players.Comment
