Ubaldo did it because he was pissed and wanted to send a message. I don't think he would have had a problem going to bat. From the sound of it, he would have welcomed it because he was looking for a fight. Hell, after he hit Tulo, he wanted to fight him.

Oh well. I'm over it. No one got hurt, except for feelings and I don't give a damn about that.

Getting Tulo out would have sent a much louder message... Making him look like a fool at the plate would have sent a much louder message... Hitting him was stupid, and then lying about it... You can say 'whatever' all you want, no one got hurt, etc... But that doesn't excuse it from being a punk bitch move.

Ubaldo is a girl. If he were a man, he would have let his game do the talking rather than throwing at him. Strike him out... Whatever.
