Maybe longevity is hard to grasp when you're a fan of a team that has only been around for fourteen years. These guys are basically preaching that the results are coming. The Blue Jays may not be taking the same mental approach as you stated. Even outside of baseball all it takes sometimes is for you to believe in yourself and not so much about what anyone is doing for your own success to start brewing. Sure you can bash them until the results actually arrive here. Remember that tasting the postseason is one thing, drinking the full glass is another.

While I agree with you overall....if you're in a desert, you'd kill for those sips. And you can't have a full glass if you don't get a sip first.

Rockies put out new commercials for the '12 season, not sure if other teams do this?

Jays lost both split squad games today. I think we jinxed em LOL

Anyways despite Brandon Morrow not having command on his fastball this afternoon his other pitches are basically at 100% according to him so that's pretty good. Thames continues to look good and Arencibia hit one out of the park. I'm fuzzy on what went on in Orlando but they lost 5-2 over there.

I'll be watching some of the Jays game tomorrow as it's the first of 2 (yes I know that sucks) spring training games being shown up here of the Jays. Cecil will be starting that one.

If Morrow could ever log 200+ IP in a season, he could strike out 250+ batters.

Real cheap pickup in fantasy due to his inconsistency with ERA and WHIP, but the Ks are always there.

We're already seeing it as they are throwing a ton of money at draftees and the international kids (before the rule change). The Jays have the potential to have a bright future as long as they develop these kids correctly.

It may be a technicality, because they are strict on running the M's like a business, but Nintendo is the wealthiest owner in baseball. Even with their recent drop in value, their income/assets dwarf Rogers Comm.

Yep, the frustrating thing about Morrow is that the guy has the best "stuff" on the pitching staff but he's never put it all together. We're all waiting for that breakout season. At the very least he'll always be a #2 or #3 depending on how deep the rotation is but there's always been the expectation that he'd pitch to elite level status at some point.

That's one of the things I didn't agree with Ragequit's post. Rogers are wealthy (and by this time next year they should be REALLY swimming in the dough once they start getting the profits from the Leafs) but I think they're top 5-6 in terms of richest owners in MLB.

Hmm, waiting for that breakout season. That reminds me a lot of Adam Eaton years ago.

Freakin' Padres can't catch a break...Carlos Quentin out 6-8 weeks with knee surgery. I guess the guy has always been injury prone.

I bet the royals are glad they signed Broxton, Soria might need Tommy John.

That was a nasty hop, I guess it's a good thing the cut was from the sunglasses instead of ball itself. Hopefully he'll be stitched up and good to go.

Agreed, I winced as soon as that ball took the hop...I was bored earlier so I took a look through some of the comments. Unbelievable what people will say to put down Miggy, some of my personal "favorites",
