You gotta realize the true Marlins fans don't in Miami, they live in West Palm, etc. They aren't driving down for a worthless exhibition game. Save that for Wednesday and beyond.

Lol, looks like Ubaldo intentionally hit Tulo then this happened.

Ubaldo hit Tulo on the back, dropped glove & dared Tulo to charge him. Benches cleared shortly thereafter.

Ubaldo after he hit Tulowitzki pounded his chest and walked toward Tulowitzki. Both benches emptied. #Indians. #Rockies.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — A war of words turned ugly today as the Indians' Ubaldo Jimenez hit Rockies' shortstop Troy Tulowitzki in the left elbow with a fastball on the first pitch of his at-bat.
Tulowitzki left the game with the injury, prompting concern that he might not be ready for opening day this Friday in Houston. He was being evaluated Sunday, and typically in these cases, X-rays are taken.
Shame the Indians dont play in Coors this year and Jimenez starting, drill him in the back.

Indians not letting Jimenez talk to the media now.

What a punk bitch. Such a ***** move considering he knows he wouldn't have to hit.

                  Ubaldo is such a douche.

The two players verbally sparred earlier this spring when Jimenez -- a former ace with Colorado -- said he felt under-appreciated by the Rockies after he was not awarded a contract extension similar to Tulowitzki's lucrative seven-year deal. Tulowitzki responded in defense of the organization.
That's what CBS says about why he probably hit Tulo. Don't really think a guy who averaged 12 wins with a 3.7 ERA would deserve 34 million let alone 134 million.

Negative result on Tulo's x-ray. Now here's to hoping karma reaches out and grabs Jimenez. Jim Tracy actually came out and said it was the most gutless act he's seen in 35 years and has lost all respect for him.

Reading that Jimenez had already starting walking towards the plate as the ball left his hand. I hope this dude gets banned 3 months. No place in the game for that.

Threw his glove down too. Now hes saying he was just trying to pitch inside. Even Guthrie who's new to the team said he saw the catcher sit inside and thought something was going to happen.

So not only is he a gutless POS, he's also a liar.

Hope an NL team takes notice when inter league play starts and he has to pick up a bat. He just made himself a marked man.

It's not new really, but Michael Pineda is off to a rough start with the Yankees.

On the same day that one former Mariners pitcher, Jamie Moyer, was being lauded for cracking the Rockies rotation at age 49, another, Michael Pineda, was in near tears after another rocky spring outing for the Yankees.

It had already been a trying spring for Pineda, who reported to camp about 20 pounds overweight, and had alarmingly low velocity numbers in his Grapefruit League starts. But the low point came Friday when Pineda was shelled by the Phillies for six runs and seven hits in 2 2/3 innings, after which he reported shoulder tightness. Today, an MRI revealed tendinitis, and Pineda was put on the 15-day DL.

Not surprisingly, Pineda is under growing heat in New York, where the trade with the Mariners was initially greeted enthusiastically -- as another star the Yankees stole from Seattle. This piece by New York Post columnist Kevn Kernan is indicative. Kernan writes, "Now you must wonder if he will ever again be the pitcher he was for the Mariners during the first half of last season, the pitcher the Yankees thought they were getting when they traded Jesus Montero to Seattle."
I feel bad for the kid but selfishly it makes me feel great about the trade. I was shocked at first, but within hours I was good with it. I knew Montero was an elite hitting prospect and would fill a need. Not that it matters, but Montero is hitting over .300 and leads the team in RBIs this spring.

A lot of M's fans still hate the trade, but from my point of view, Pineda had a great first half as a rookie and then regressed at a breakneck rate. His slide continued this spring. I think the hype train on him was too quick. A lot of M's fans think he reached Felix, ace type status and was immune from a trade.

Hopefully Pineda finds a way to bounce back because he seems like a great kid. He needs to realize that getting by on talent alone is not enough at this level, though.

99% of the time having pitchers hit sucks, this is the other 1%.

Bug Selig was at the game so I'm sure Ubaldo is getting suspended.
