If Votto didn't only hit to deepest parts of the parks he would have a lot more homers.
Missed another one in deep right center field.

If you want to see bombs watch mark Trumbo. Not one HR less than 405 ft. Most around 420-430.
That's kind of shocking given that most of his HRs appear to be those of no doubt variety, guess the parks can influence that as well.

Jose Reyes with straight hustle this inning to score, flare out in CF hustling out a double. Goes to 3rd after Zimmerman looks him off and throws it to 1st, then score on a shallow fly ball to CF

He's got a bunch in the 360 ft range as well.

5 K for Chris Sale through 2. Slider is just falling off the table so far. Filthy.

Yeah those were his power just muscling out hits that would have been outs/doubles to normal hitters. Doesn't bother me much as long as he hits them and is doing a great job of not just hitting HRs this year as well so far.

When that slider is working he's not fun to face.

That's not fair, Hamilton doesn't get to hit in the friendly confines.

You see everyone, this is what happens when you have an prospective owner that skimps on just about every baseball operation possible then leaves after actually being questioned about his ability to not only buy the team but how he's using the money, now that the scouting reports are out, Suppan doesn't belong anywhere near a big league ballclub (and neither do half the players on this team, sigh).

You can say that for any power hitter. However the only reason I brought it up is people made it seem like he only hits no doubters , which is not the case (according to hittracker). There are players out there who hit them much more frequently.

Yeah the wind and Wrigley certainly helped the Friars out. Cabrera hit one out. Lol.

I'm glad I did not pick him in any of my fantasy teams. He seemed off last season for the Padres and again this year.
