Yeah, that was ridiculous. Mauer should be starting. The Final Voting in the AL is very weak, so Darvish looks like he'll run away with it.

La Russa still holing a grudge against Cueto & Phillips. Cueto is the biggest snub this year.

In regards to snubs, you also have to remember that every team must be represented. You'll have guys like Altuve, Street, or Miley pushing guys out that are deserving.

In the case of Altuve, he really is deserving. Don't know so much about the other guys.
It definitely sucks to have Bruce make the all star game, but Phillips & Cueto not.

Headley or Volquez would have been better choices from the Padres.
