I love when the Reds play the Dodgers because I get to listen to Vin Scully.

I really hope the Reds take at least 2 of these games from the Dodgers, but if Votto is out for an extended period who knows.

Vin Scully is the greatest baseball announcer ever if you ask me.

Reds should take at least 2 of 3 from the Dodgers. Yeah, Votto is out but the Dodgers are without Kemp and Either. Also we don't have to face Kershaw.

I miss the days when I use to get an update on who the best player in baseball was from these threads.

During the really long rain delay between the Jays and Boston game a while back Sportsnet aired the Dodgers feed of the game against the Giants. I hadn't heard Vin in some time but watched that game and was amazed. Here's a guy who's 84 and while he's lost a ton on his fastball is still the best "listen" out of all the TV commentators around today. Add the fact that he does it all by himself and it's just remarkable.

It'll be a sad day when Vin Scully's microphone goes silent for the last time.
