Justin Ruggiano with a 445 ft bomb to extend his hit streak to 10 games, never would have thought that trade would have done anything other then give the Marlins another body while Boni was down.
Just like that Stanton is already out the game, probably really needs that knee surgery with the loose body in there.Last edited by Chrisksaint; 07-07-2012, 03:56 PM.Saints, LSU, Seminoles, Pelicans, Marlins, LightningComment

Re: 7/2 - 7/8 Game Discussion Thread
Andruw Jones has been playing like his young self lately. That's rather nice to see, though I wish it wasn't against Boston.
Freakin' national Saturday broadcasts is blacking out any way that I can see the Braves and Phils. I know they haven't started yet, but their Gameday page makes me believe they will soon.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: 7/2 - 7/8 Game Discussion Thread
Terrible decision by the umpire, but Grienke shouldn't be spiking the ball down like a child when the play is still going on.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 07-07-2012, 08:35 PM.Comment

Re: 7/2 - 7/8 Game Discussion Thread
That was just awful on both sides. Greinke should not be doing what he did. I know your frustrated, but wow does that look childish.
On that same token, umpires... let the MLB or his coach handle what to do with his own personal frustrations. Things just aren't going his way. Don't eject him because you assume that he is angry at your call. Even if he is, let him argue his way toward ejection. Just ridiculous that Roenicke had to go down with him.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

The most shocking thing in that Greinke situation is Joe West was on that crew and he wasn't the one involved in the shenanigans."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." - Rogers HornsbyComment

Today was Jered Weaver's 8th start out of 15 total starts, he didn't allow an earned run.Comment

Re: 7/2 - 7/8 Game Discussion Thread
No way Greinke should have been thrown out, but what the hell was he so riled up about? You should never have a meltdown like that 4 pitches into the game.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

The most hilarious thing about that is that he got a loss out of it. W/L stat, everybody!Comment
