What a pathetic baseball team we have.
So that's where that guy came from. I'm in 2021 in the Show 11 franchise and he just owned me, came back on 1 days rest for some reason, and owned me again.

That start from Arrieta was disgraceful...another failed Orioles pitching prospect. The only successful homegrown pitchers the Orioles have produced since 1990 are Mike Mussina and Erik Bedard. All of the following were top 100 (and most of them higher) prospects at one point:

      Jake Arrieta
      Matt Riley
      Brian Matusz
      Radhames Liz
      Hayden Penn
      Brandon Erbe
      Pedro Beato
      Adam Loewen
      John Maine
      Denny Bautista
      Nerio Rodriguez
      Sidney Ponson

Among others...and all of them were terrible or were injured. That's a horrific ratio. Only one of those guys (Maine) turned out to be an average ML pitcher for a few years, but with the Mets and not the Orioles.

I remember thinking Daniel Cabrera would be a boss.

I was extremely high on DCab. All of his peripherals were great but he could never get the walks under control. Then his fastball velocity went from 97-100 to 91-93 and he was out of the league soon after. I still remember the 1-hitter he threw against the Yankees in 2006 and thinking he'd finally turned the corner, but that never worked out.

In a perfect world Henderson Alvarez would be getting a stint in the minors right about now but the Jays pitching staff is so decimated that he'll still be pitching. Actually he didn't pitch TOO badly but after getting screwed by the ump not once but TWICE he lost his composure and allowed 4 runs. He's just not getting the breaks he had last season and early this year.

Nice to see the Jays offense pick him up and score 6 runs but once again the bullpen falls apart. "sigh"

Well here's hoping the ChiSox don't go beating the Jays over the head with their bats this weekend.

              The Reds still suck.
              NFL: Indianapolis Colts (12-6)
              NBA: Indiana Pacers (42-13)
              MLB: Cincinnati Reds (0-0)
              NHL: Detroit Red Wings (26-20-12)
NCAA: Purdue Boilermakers (FB: 1-11, BB: 15-12), Michigan Wolverines (FB: 7-6, BB: 19-7, H: 15-10-3)

He shared his opinion who should and shouldn't be in the Hall of Fame. In one breath he said A-Rod shouldn't get in because of steroids, but then said we should ignore that Pettite took them. Then he listed some Hall of Famers that shouldn't be in - including Gary Carter. Then he brought up the old Morris>Blyleven gem. It was a stunning amount of mouth diarrhea for such a short period of time.

Yikes, well he was always a bit of a dimbulb when it came to these things.

Was watching that game, but it was kind of in the background at that point. Was wondering if I heard that right. I thought the mic cut out or something.
