Urbina is a similar, but worse, issue as Pudge. He's been off and on for several years.

Jim Hendry is terrible at signing free agents. Hello, Urbina was very shaky with the Marlins at times, why not just Hawkins, Leskanic, and Quantrill to finish off the bullpen for God sakes? Then you go and get Castillo and Jose Cruz Jr. when you trade Alou to the Giants in the three way trade with Minnesota sending Milton to the Cubs as the fifth starter.

*sigh*, why are Cub fans coming up with better ideas than Hendry.

That is a Cubs fan wet dream. We are more likely to trade for A-Rod than sign Castillo, Hawkins, Cruz Jr., Quantrill, and Leskanic and trade for Milton and Sexson. That kind of offseason is onlly possible in a video game.

BTW, I think Hendry is the best GM the Cubs have had in a long while. Probably one of the best in the league.

Actually, Hendry has already discussed sending Alou to the Giants with Milton coming to the Cubs. Lofton would then start in left with Jason Dubois coming up as a backup.

When your GM is going after Fernando Vina, Benito Santiago, and J.T. Snow, it gives, at least me, a sick feeling in the stomach when we have the money to get Castillo.
