How so? In what way I have misrepresented his accomplishments based on homerism. I admitted in the other thread that Hamilton had better numbers than everybody else after 81 games, but besides Hamilton Cabrera's numbers stacked up with the other candidates.

Homerism doesn't adjust stats lol. Cabrera puts up "MVP caliber" numbers almost every year really. A lot of guys put up "MVP caliber" numbers. I don't see what homerism has to do with that.

You did in the other thread, the one you keep mentioning.

You've declared him the MVP frontrunner how many times now?

          We get it.

With that talent on that team, I shudder to think how many wins they'd put up if they had an actual tactician running that team.

Welington Castillo with a big home run to put the Cubs up 2-1. B-Jax with a groundout, a walk and a base hit so far.

Um, no I haven't. The only thing I have said in either thread is that he deserves to be one of the top 2 or 3 candidates.

As far as my post earlier in the thread I said he is having MVP caliber season, not that he is the clear cut MVP. I even said in the other thread that I would give Trout the nod at this point.

                  Whatever, agree to disagree.

With that lineup (I didn't see the game so correct me if I am off), why would you ever give away outs? They literally have 9 guys that can put the bat on the ball with authority.

You aren't off. Top of the lineup was coming up, and Andrus was at-bat. Why you bunt there period, much less with nobody out, I have no clue. One of the worst decisions I've ever seen.

I'm really surprised the Tigers were able to come back and win. After that 9th inning I figured they had no chance, then with giving up 3 in the top of the 10th I thought they blew s great opportunity. Great job of them to not give up and win to get the sweep of the Indians.

Tough series coming up though, 4 games against the Yankees. Hopefully Verlander can get them off to a great start and keeping the winning going. It's turning out to be a great divisional race between the White Sox and Tigers.

I completely agree. For some reason, Washington wants Andrus to bunt much more than he should (12 sac bunts this year, I believe), and I guess he thought it was the right call. It's so frustrating.

Anthony Rizzo ties the game up with a solo shot in the top of the 9th.
