J.A. Happ gets his first start as a Blue Jay tomorrow.

BTW everyone keeps calling him J Happ. I wonder what his full name is? James Anthony...Why can't they just call him Jim or Jimmy.

Kids and their stupid insistence on initializing their names. I think I might call the Blue Jays postgame show tomorrow and call him Jimmy MUAHAHAHAHAHA.

Verlander vs Nova tonight (ESPN). I'm not sure if my Dish is just slow to update but it's saying the game won't be blacked out

It'll probably update itself sooner than later.

It would be sad if it didn't then suddenly updates in the middle of the game, least you'll have the local feed.

Wanted to take this opportunity to thank MLB Network for giving us a chance to watch the greatest sport in the world 24/7. Tis a beautiful thing...

Anyway, not excited to face Verlander tonight. Just got shut down by Felix 3 days ago, really don't want to see it again.

When did the Twins become an offensive powerhouse?

Or are the Indians really this bad now?

Cabby with another bomb to center at Comerica. You rarely see anybody hit one to center at Comerica, but Cabby has done it 7 or 8 times this season. He also had two to center against the Yankees last time they played. Both Prince and Cabby have been on fire lately.

Edit: Verlander with a costly error that allows the Yankees to score two runs and tie the game. Can't give an offense like that free runs.

Not sure why they have him playing SS but it's not like he's never played the position before. In fact, he first came up as a SS primarily but was quickly moved.

He's been playing the position sporadically since '09.

I think the Tigers destroyed the Indians' morale with that win yesterday. 12 runs to the Twins is just bad.

The looks on the faces in the Cleveland dugout yesterday, after the Cabby hr, told you all you needed to know. Cleveland was pretty much already finished as a contender before yesterdays game, but that was the final straw that broke the camels back. Really it's kind of amazing Cleveland was able to hang in as long as they did given their horrendous pitching numbers and sub-par hitting numbers. Their 2nd to last in ERA in the AL and only 9th or so in runs scored.

Verlander ties a career high with 14 strikeouts. Good to see him rebound from a tough start against Boston.
