                                He actually may get there... The love he gets from the official scorers is unreal. Including todays game and one a few days ago. I've seen two for sure errors be called hits. Am I the only person who notices these things?

                                        Nope he just doesn't want bad enough. If he relly wanted 4000 hits he would be busting his butt off but he's not

                                                I don't know about the 4,000 hits, but if the guy gets the AL MVP like I keep hearing certain media folks chirp about I'll lose it.

                                                    It just occurred to me that he actually has a realistic shot at winning the AL batting title.

                                                    If that happens...well...he'll be guaranteed to reel in more MVP votes than he should. However, Trout is such an obvious selection this year that I don't even think it's possible for baseball writers to screw it up.

                                                        Welp, I thought Trout would be a shoe in but his recent "slump" has given a leg up to Cabrera it seems, especially if Cabrera wins the "historic" Triple Crown. Hooray for RBI's!

                                                            Any voter who decides to give the MVP to Cabrera solely because he won the triple crown should have his voting privileges revoked. Hitting a few more homers to surpass Hamilton doesn't make Cabrera's season any more valuable than it already has been. The Triple Crown is a nice feat and I'm hoping he does it, but it should by no means be the reason he gets the award.
