Tough 4 game series for the Reds against Philly. Got to face, Halladay, Lee & Hamels. Game 4 is between Cueto/Hamels, so that should be a fun game to watch.

I have a feeling this is going to be a tough series for the Reds, it usually is when they play the Phillies. I'll be happy if they come back to Cincinnati with a split.

So yeah Stanton has homered twice tonight, 5 on the road trip. 26 on the season despite missing some time.

This is what the season has come to just counting Stanton HRs

Incredible game going on in Washington. Braves were down 4-1, Heyward drove in 3 of 4 runs and we're now tied 4-4 going into the 12th.

Uggla what are you doing? How do you not go to 2nd with the ball. The runner on 3rd doesn't matter if you get the double play.

Had to work until late tonight...got home and just watched the highlights...just frustrating. We can't beat this team at all this year. Even if we win the rest of our games against them we are 1 game out. It's just time to realize the Nats are a really, really good team.

The Phils can probably save some money on shopping for a 3B, because not only is Frandsen hitting, but he just made what is probably the top web gem for the evening in the 6th inning versus the Reds w/ the bases jammed which led to Cliff Lee getting out of the inning w/o giving up a run after they then turned a DP.

Add: having an All-Star night.... driving in a tying run in the 8th with a triple and pulling off another gem in the 9th. It's a shame the damn bullpen is gonna spoil this one.

I can just see the Braves having a 7 game lead on WC2 and then losing the play-in game on some nonsense.
