so how do you think the batting line up will be this year?

Stewart is most likely to lead off.

    4.Jones
    5.Hunter
    6.Doug M.
    7.Mauer
    8.Lecroy
    9.Guzman

*this will be my line up in MVP
    Colorado Avalanche (NHL)
    Denver Nuggets (NBA)
    Green Bay Packers (NFL)

      Re: TWINS

I think they will break-up Koskie and Jones, and move Lecroy up.

      Stewart
      Rivas
      Koskie
      Hunter
      Jones
      LeCroy
      Doug M.
      Mauer
      Guzman

Depending on how he hits in the spring, i think the Twins would prefer to see Guzman bat 2nd over Rivas, so that could change. It's a nice lefty/righty mix. We need much better seasons from Hunter and Koskie, and Jones needs to keep getting better and cutting down on his K's. It's got potential, but a lot of questions.

                  Re: TWINS

Here's how I see the Twins' lineup shaking down this season:

The Twins would probably like to have some speed in the 2nd slot which is why they had Guzman and Rivas there last year, but I'd like to see Mientkiewicz in that spot. He hits really well for average and tied Koskie (.393) with the team lead in OBP. Hunter struggled last year in both the #3 and #4 spots. It seemed as though he put too much pressure on himself to have a career year and swung out of his shoes, constantly chased high fastballs, and tried to pull outside pitches to the left field bleachers. That being said, Torii really settled down in September and in the playoffs, hitting really well. I think he'll settle down and hit very well this season in the middle of the Twins lineup. Gardy has said in a couple articles I've read that he likes the look of the lineup with Koskie up in the middle of the lineup. He also said that when Corey was hitting well from the #3 and #4 spots in May the Twins could beat anybody. I can't remember what article it was but I'm almost positive it was on startribune.com or twinsbaseball.com. Also, I've always liked lineups with some speed at the bottom because it makes a nice transition from the bottom to the leadoff spot. That way they can do a lot of steals and hit and runs, etc.

Here's what I'd like to see:

                  1) LF - Shannon Stewart
                  2) 1B - Doug Mientkiewicz
                  3) CF - Torii Hunter
                  4) 3B - Corey Koskie
                  5) DH - Matthew Lecroy
                  6) RF - Jacque Jones
                  7) C - Joe Mauer
                  8) 2B - Luis Rivas
                  9) SS - Christian Guzman
                  Minnesota Vikings
                  Minnesota Twins
                  Chicago Bulls
                  UNC Tar Heels

I think the reason you can't bat Hunter or Jones in the #3 spot is because they strike out too much. That's why i think they'll stay in the 4 and 5 slots. Doug M. would be a good #2 hitter, but i think the Twins will stick with the old-school mentality of keeping someone there with speed that can bunt for a hit or move runners over. I don't think they'll want Doug to give himself up as much as they would Guzman or Rivas.
