bender, i'm not sure where you live, but NOBODY in the metro area is getting Victory Sports. The only companies that have signed a deal with them so far are the smaller, independant companies outside of the metro are. Also, the MLB package will not show Twins games, home or road, to people in the Twin Cities. They are blacked out. We are all getting screwed by Carl Pohlad again, and oddly enough, he's screwing himself. Besides alienating Twins fans, he's also making virtually nothing on TV revenue as it stands. With none of the major cable or dish companies signing on to carry Victroy Sports, their TV revenue will actually be less than last year. This whole thing really sucks. If i can't get Twins games on TV as i'm accustomed to, i won't spend a dime going to the Metrodome.

I was looking at the cable companies that picked it up on Victory's web site and I just assumed that most of them were available to those in the metro area.
I live in South Dakota during the summer but go to school in Kansas so I was thinking about getting mlbtv for spring and fall anyway. It looks like I'll need it during the summer as well though.Minnesota Vikings

Re: TWINS
Victory Sports One is a new cable network owned by the Twins. The link should tell you everything you need to know.
It looks like a pretty good network but the only problem is few cable companies have picked it up so most Twins fans won't get to see any Twins games on TV this year. Unless they play on ESPN or Fox but that happens maybe like 5 times a year at the very most. Fox Sports Net recently offered the Twins a better contract than they had in past years but the Twins turned it down.Minnesota Vikings

Re: TWINS
Victory Sports One(Pohlad) wants 50 million from the cable companys. I live in South East Minnesota and we get Charter. Charter is negotiating but VS1 is a pain in the a**. Some cable companys(like Time Warner) arent even negotiating with Victory Sports one. Too bad Fox didnt accept the Twin's first offer. Now I have to listen to Twins games on the radio. Damn Pohlad and his greed.Comment

Re: TWINS
Yep, we're all getting screwed by the Twins. I have Charter, as well, and as far as i know, they're not close to adding VS1 to its channel lineup. So, the season starts in a month, and we're facing the real possibility of not having Twins games on TV. I blame the Twins, and i won't be giving them any of my money until this problem is solved. How do you guys feel?Comment
