I am not a big baseball fan but why does boston wanna get rid of manny so bad what did he do? they were praising him when they signed him now they put him on the waiver wire and trade block y?

He is lazy in the outfield. Gets the sniffles and refuses to play but misses his dr's appoinment and goes out to a bar that night. Refuses to pinch hit. Oh yeah and he also said he wants to play for the Yankees. Big NO NO in Beantown!!

Nomar's homer off Pedro. Those four words just shouldn't go together. Not even on a day like 6/6/6. ~Bill Simmons

His knees are also on the verge of turning into jello. Within 2 yrs he'll be a DH so it's best to trade him while his value is high.

I wouldn't mind this deal going down at all. I'm just trying to say it's not at all fair that Boston is wanting to trade for him and then restructure his contract so he is much less paid. And you can't really blame them for wanting to get rid of Manny. But I have no idea why they would want to get rid of Nomar. Except for the fact that he did commit alot of errors last season.

                  This deal is basically dead.
the bigger task at hand now is what to do about Nomar, try to re-sign him, or continue to explore trade options for him, i hope they try to re-sign him.
