I think Cameron got a 4 year/$24 mil offer from the A's, which is bigger than the reported 3 year/$15 mil offer from the Mets IIRC.

At first, I was upset that the Mets didnt go for Castillo as much as they should have because I want to leave Reyes at SS. If you've seen him field, you know why. This guy can flat out throw. I would hate to see Reyes resent moving position and not wanting to stay with the Mets long term. But looking at it now, When lil Matsui's contract is up, Reyes will only be 23! That is very young. If lil Matsui is not with us after that, Reyes could always move back to SS. I say good move to add life to an organization that has had a few rough years. If this guy is everything they say he is, i can't wait to see him play. Lets go Mets...Go get Cameron, Millwood, and a first baseman's glove for Piazza...Oh, and of course, Vlad
