How is that skewed? All the other teams combined = the field.

It's not...I didn't get the gist of the post at first until after I had posted.

I thought I told you to use fire O's! Can't let the zombies stick around by only having small leads.

Losing last night, makes this a very difficult series to win. A lot easier to say "win 1 of the next 2" than to say "win both of these games on the road.". It can be done, but the road is much harder for the O's.

Tonight would be the better chance with Hughes on the mound. You never know if he will last 4 innings or pitch a gem. He has been better of late but he is not money, that is for sure.

I was rooting for the Orioles, but man this was a great game last night.. I've always liked Raul Ibanez and it makes me happy to see an oldie like that still out there truckin.

It does baffle me to as why they threw the same pitch to him basically on both homeruns. Raul has been in the league for 200 years now, inside fastball is the pitch he loves to turn on. Might of been johnson just not hitting his spots, but I really think you throw something more offspeed there instead of a fastball or that sinker that has a high risk of coming out flat.

Tough loss for the O's. If not for Jim Johnson's struggles, the O's could have conceivably swept the series. Instead they're left having to win 2 in a row in Yankee Stadium, against a team that won't be overwhelmed by the playoff atmosphere. I think the O's magic has run out.

That's the part which hurts me the most. WE should have swept the Yankees. I'm not going to take away their wins, but damn, everything pointed to Oriole wins all three games.

You must not be familiar with the Yankees' work in the ALDS since it was invented.

There's your mistake. The Yankees are vampires, not zombies. How to defeat them in six easy steps:

                          - wear crucifix at all times
                          - apply holy water, garlic, and silver liberally
                          - stake through heart
                          - decapitate
                          - dump remains in river
                          - pray for dawn

Joe Girardi's father passed away today. He is expected to still manage game 4 tonight.

Apparently Girardi's Dad passed away on Saturday night and he didn't tell the team, presumably to keep them focused.

                                Damn.
