You throw two fastballs down the middle of the plate to the same guy twice.

I love being betrayed by my Sports teams in Baltimore. What's next... Joe Flacco fumbling the ball on the 1 with 2 seconds left in the Superbowl?

WHY DO YOU HATE ME, BASEBALL GODS! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU HATE ME SO MUCH IN LIFE!!!

I don't care who you root for, that is what makes baseball so special. Just incredible...I've always liked Raul and while I know he's near the end, it's cool to see an old guy like that come through.

I feel bad for Orioles fans. They waited all these years for a 1996 ALCS redux?

Ah well. Best of luck in 2028.

Great win! The Ghosts in full affect. It's not BS.
You have to know Raul is looking dead red and yet he sees fastball.

                Congrats Yankees!

                WOOOOOOOOT!!!

No matter how the year turns out Buck Showalter is coach of the year by far. Orioles will be very good for a while.

I'd be so tight if I were an orioles fan right now. Thank goodness I'm not. Old man Jenkins does it again!

That was such a frustrating game to watch, the Yanks bats were dead all game, and then here comes freaking Raul Ibanez. Awesome ending, and a great job by Kuroda and the pen to keep the O's in the bird cage.

BTW I don't hate Arod, and will be eternally grateful to him for that one year, but I just don't like him batting 3rd, that's all, because he's just looked pathetic at the plate.

I think they jinxed the O's when they displayed that pointless overlay showing that the O's were the only team to not lose in walkoff fashion this year.

That's weird. I've never really cared for Ibanez and that was made worse when he played for Philly. Still happy he came through, given my interests in this game.

That's a skewed stat though. The Yanks have been in the playoffs EVERY year except for 2008 since then. I'm pretty sure all the other teams combined haven't been. It is an amazing stat though because the Yanks have played fewer games than the 'field' if you will.

Well, I had him in a DMB league starting in 2001. Nobody liked him, but at the time I think he was in Kansas City and he gave me some productive years and I became fond of him. Just became a personal fave for some reason.
