    Why?

My older brother is a massive Yankees fan, I like their players, their history, and the fact that they put money back into the team unlike other organizations. Plus, anything that pisses Boston sports fans off is great by me. Except for the whole Laker thing is involved, of course.

This is what playoff Baseball is all about. 2 games that went into the 9th inning with the game still in the balance.

Series tied. The Bronx Zoo will be rocking tomorrow night. Should be fun

Yankees did what they had to do which was win one in Baltimore now all we have to do is win two at home. We have to get better with runners in scoring position, Bases loaded with one out with Nunez and Jeter coming up you'd expect at least one run would get in. Either way hopefully Kuroda will pitch like he has all year and we can pull out the win tomorrow.

So pissed that I have waited since 1997 for a playoff game in Baltimore and I have been stuck in Milford, MA the past 7 weeks. If the O's don't win this series, there is a chance that I won't get to personally attend a play-off game in Baltimore this year. C'mon O's. I've spent way to much money watching awful baseball the past 15 years to not get to attend one game at the yard.

The bats need to get going for the Yanks, especially with RISP.

Why are we batting Arod 3rd again? He seems to just be flailing away up there, he looks like he has no confidence up there at the plate. I'd much, much, rather have Cano in the 3 spot.

Tell me about it. Arod has been crap all year. Is his career over? Dosn't he have like 6 or 7 more years left in his contract? What a waste!

I remember back in the 80's in New York watching Cubs games on WGN Cable. The Cubs had just signed George Bell from FA, I remember Bell used to strike-out a lot. Harry Caray, who said what was on his mind and didn't care, (I use to love him for that) would say:

"Oh my Oh my, we paid $10 million for this? To stike-out!" 10 mil was a lot back then too!! Just think, Arod makes $200M+ now.

That's how I feel about Arod. All that $$$ the Yankees wasted on just one guy..He is done...and they are stuck with him too!

Well he's been on and off the DL alot, but he is just a shell of himself now. He's not getting his wrists through, he looks way out of rhythm out here, there's no consistency, and he just looks like he has no confidence at the plate. When the real Arod is going his wrists are snapping through, and he's hitting any pitch in the zone hard and far.

He does not deserve to be batting 3rd. Robby should be in that spot. Another guy that looks lost out there is Swisher, he just tightens up in the playoffs it seems. I'd love to trade those two during the playoffs.

I agree, yes, Arod was hurt too, I forgot about that. But you're right, he shouldn't be batting 3rd..Canoe should be there. And yr right, he's lost confidence, he's just dosn't look comfortable. it's not all Arod, Swisher too is not hitting either like he should be.

I just don't know about my bombers, I don't think they can get far, even if they win this, it looks like it is going to be a struggle for them. The not hitting with RISP is really killing them this year, and it is showing in the post season.

I hope I'm wrong, and the Yanks win it, but you know, we have to win it all or it is another failure.

I support Alex batting third. He's hit better than anyone but Cano, Jeter and Ichiro all season.

This is classic fan panic button. It's two games. It amazes me that Alex still gets so much crap while Tex gets nothing for having not hit anything like the player the Yanks signed.

At least ARod won two MVPs and people have him crap then too. He's just a walking punching bag and is expected to produce everytime. No one puts anyone else on the roster at such a high pedestal.

Plus it makes sense to have Cano protecting him.
