Official 2013 Predictions Thread
VERY early predictions for 2013 postseason. What I like about this year is although all of these teams have a good chance, but almost all of them could be easily replaced by tough competition. 10 teams that I think could replace these 10 (some easier and more realistic than others) are Rays, O's Red Sox, Indians, ChiSox, Rangers, Phillies, Brewers, Cards, D-Backs.

Re: Very Early 2013 Playoff Predictions
Way too early so here's just my WS prediction
Jays/Nats with the Jays winning in 6.
My more realistic version has Tigers vs Nats with the Nats winning in 5.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Very Early 2013 Playoff Predictions
^I really don't see O's being as good as they were last year. A big part of their success last year was divisional records. Don't see their record against a team like Yankees changing much. But Jays they'll likely win about 5-6 less games than in 2012, Red Sox I see being more around 4-5 less wins, and Rays maybe 2-3 less wins. Still might be able to manage a low 80s win total though.
Either way, 2013 will be the most interesting the AL East has ever been. Jays(who finished below .500 in 2012) being heavy faves from the start, O's came out of nowhere with 90+ win in 2012, Yankees slowly declining, Rays usually around top, and Red Sox with unexpected play.
I wouldn't be surprised if the worst team in the AL East still had over 75 wins next year.Comment

Re: Very Early 2013 Playoff Predictions
Same here. Also the Angels. Not saying they won't have good seasons like everyone thinks they will, but right now everything is just "on paper" good.
I hope the Blue Jays can have a great year and win the division though. It's been a long time coming for them and it would definitely be refreshing to see.Comment
