I don't care about his talent, I'll never have respect for anyone who acts like that.

Showed extreme nonchalance fielding fly balls. I think he did something on the base paths too.

He carried his sour attitude from the plate to the field, and was a punk about it.

Yea I just wanted to see if I was seeing the same thing, I saw him angrily throw a ball to a fan, and catch some flyballs with a IDGAF attitude, He just looked pissed, did he loaf or anything, or was that it?

His on-field demeanor was cancerous for that clubhouse that's trying to carry strong momentum into this postseason. Mattingly just decided that when shutting out the Cubs on a Wednesday matinee, that kind of message/wake-up call is very worth it in the long run.

But yeah, physically that was all that he did. He can come off with an "above the game" demeanor, while somebody who I just pointed out like Jose Fernandez is respecting the game with every breath he takes on the hill, and seems to have a lot of fun doing it.

Regarding the basepaths, Puig just loafed then didn't even slide in an attempt to break up the double play.

It was pretty bad all the way around.

Ehhh nothing terrible, just a douchey attitude, I guess. Don Mattingly really sounded bad in that press conference, yea I bet Skip freaking Schumaker was a better choice then Puig.

Puig be happy your out of Castro land, and your making big bucks living out the dream, but I know players just don't think like the rational do.

I was watching MLB Player Poll and they had Puig on their list of breakout seasons for 2013.

I always thought in order to have a breakout season, you had to play multiple seasons?

                    Haven't you been paying attention?

Puig is like Chuck Norris, normal rules don't apply.

^Then he'll suddenly win nl most improved player too lol

I'm hoping Pirates-A's is the WS matchup. Pirates havent been to WS since 1979. A's havent been to WS since 1990(controversial years due to those years being the McGuire/Canseco days). So nice to get a fresh WS for once.

And comeback player if the year too.

Bucs/A's WS is what I want too. It'd be awesome. Not sure the ratings would agree though.

Pittsburgh is popular with the nation. A name like Andrew McCutchen helps go a long way, too.

If ESPN spins the "Moneyball" angle enough and puts a lot of the focus on Beane, I can see that garnering some interest as well.

It can't be any less popular than the Astros vs. White Sox 2005 World Series.

Sad to see Morneau leave. One of my favorite Twins. It's too bad that that concussions have hindered him so badly. But he has always been a class act. But I'm glad he got traded to a contender.

Morneau is THE perfect guy for the Buccos to acquire. He has the experience, he's swinging a hot bat lately and he should transition well to the NL. Even if he's just a rental this is a solid move by the Buccos and i'm cheering for them like crazy.
