I am a little surprised at all the discussion this brawl had generated. I am hearing stuff like 'make charging the mound assault in the work place, ban them for 2 years, etc'.

Seriously? Let me put anyone in a major league box and have you get hit by a 95 MPH fastball near the head, hands, etc, and lets see how you react. Do I like seeing guys charge the mound? No, I think it's stupid....but I certainly understand it.

How do they manage to fill the stadium in June when they are already a dozen games out of 1st? Unlimited beer and hot dogs?

Sox/Rays has been postponed due to rain. Sox could use a day off after dropping the last two against Baltimore anyway.

Wrigley hosts 3 types of fans...

Cubs Fans
Baseball Fans
Wrigley Fans

#1 & 2 are there to see a game.
#3 is there to party and just uses Wrigley as the venue.

Most people dont wanna party in 40* rainy weather.

Chicago loves their sports. Plus its Wrigley. It's in a neighborhood that's fun to hang out in even if the team sucks.
