That Fernandez kid looks like a very good prospect. He looked great early against the Reds.

Yeah he has some great stuff, could be what Josh Johnson was on track to be before all the injuries.

Unfortunately I have watched them in awhile, Lightning or Magic always on instead, so I've missed every win

I think the more important thing is that Colorado is about to be 11-4. Were they supposed to be this good?

No go back to all the pre-season hype and read the predictions from all the the so called experts. Almost all of them had predicted that Colorado was the 3rd worst team in the majors. But the so called experts are clearly not experts as instead of actually watching the players perform on the field these so called experts made their predictions before the first pitch was ever thrown out in Spring Training.

But the complete story of the 2013 Colorado Rockies is only beginning to unfold. With the exception of their 3 game series against the Giants (which they were swept) they have yet to play any of the contenders. They took 2 of 3 from Milwaukee (they should have taken all 3 except that one of their relief pitchers Wilton Lopez messed up in the 8th inning of the season opener). They swept a 3 game set at home against San Diego. They themselves were swept by the Giants. Followed by the Rockies sweeping San Diego again on the road and this latest sweep of the Mets. With all due respect to Milwaukee, San Diego and the Mets. None of these teams are serious contenders. So the Rockies did what they needed to do. They won games against non-contending teams. But the real test begins tonight. In their next few series they play Arizona, Atlanta, Arizona, Dodgers, Tampa Bay, Yankees, St Louis, Cubs, Giants, Arizona and Giants. If the Rockies continue their winning ways in these series, then we will know the so called experts don't know their heads from their you know whats.

The experts were pretty good in pegging Colorado as a terrible team last year.

Let's wait a few more weeks to make sure Tulo doesn't get injured and the pitching doesn't take a craptastic turn for the worse.

No announcement has been made. It's only noon. Who is to say this isn't over in 3 hours for all we know. Same with the hockey game. It has not been made official at all, so it is far from obvious at this point (especially 7 hours from game time). Bruins and Penguins only cancelled morning skates and they are going to wait until it is unreasonable to wait any longer with the Ottawa/Boston game already postponed until after the season.

No, where did you get this? Both games are around 7ish, so that's 7 hours away. Way to early to tell is this is going to affect each game. If its like this in 4-5 hours, then cancelations will be put in place.
