I just saw something I have NEVER seen before in the Rays/Athletics game.

It was a double play that was scored... 8-UNASSISTED

What happened was this:

One out with a runner (Eric Sogard) on first base. Coco Crisp was at the plate and hit a bloop into shallow center that looked like it was going to fall in for a base hit so Sogard took off. Desmond Jennings ran it down and made the catch and by that time Sogard was already halfway to third base. Instead of tossing the ball over to James Loney on first, Jennings just ran over to first base himself and stepped on the bag to complete the strangest double play I have ever seen.

I love baseball.

I now know why the Astros were moved to the AL. They didn't want the NL getting 2 AAA teams.

I'd say, I was thinking Cubs but realized you still have alot if young talent and a better record then the Marlins...

Rangers starting pitchers are having a tough break...Colby Lewis already out until Mid May, now Harrison out until the ASB, and now Tepesch gets a liner off the hand or wrist I believe, hope it's nothing serious...
