And people were worried about Votto's power. I think that ball got into the outfield seats before he finished his swing.

Alex Gordon leading off has been one of the best things the Royals have done in years. Last year was his first full season at lead off and it was his breakout season. And he's been raking so far this season.

Something is seriously wrong with the Jays. It's not like they have great pitching and offense is just losing games for them, or their offense is great, but pitching is losing games for them, everything is going wrong!

Something has to be done to the team! It's either the players or the managers, and seeing how this team is built on players who have had proven success in past number of years(if not their entire careers), you have to wonder if it is the coaches. Cause it seems like everyone is having the exact same problems.

Yep, the Jays are bad. Something seems terribly off. It's still sort of early, but they are painful to watch.

Oh you mean a team that made a bunch of big name offseason deals isn't working out currently?

I've been saying it to myself since the day he was hired. It was one thing to go back to the well with Cito, a guy who had won a team with a mix of free agents, trades, and homegrown players. Just didn't think Gibbons was the best possible guy; might have been the best available though.

Bautista giving us a chance though.

Gibbons wasn't best available guy. We had guys like Fasano,Sandy Alomar jr we could've brought in. Jim Tracy was another guy I was hoping Jays would've considered.

Fasano has never managed at the major league level so that could have been adventurous. For some reason, Fasano is a roving instructor now instead of a manager at AA, but whatever on that one. Alomar, maybe, but it would have been hard to pull him away from Cleveland I bet, even if it meant a full time managerial position. Tracy would have been worth a go.

Twins and Sox headed to extras... now if the Twins could convert base runners into actual runs, that'd be great.
