Which is kinda weird since he only has one pitch.

Just heard Donald Lutz tweeted "He's headed to the big leagues", which means look for Chris Heisey to the DL.

He's got a CB, but he doesn't use it much tho.

Can the Jays have Lyle Overbay and Vernon Wells back? Just so they can ride the bench and never play against the Jays again.

He throws 78.1% fastballs. There are only two pitchers in MLB that throw more.

Most major league starters have 2-3 off-speed offerings, each of which they throw more than 15% of the time. Cingrani only has one that he throws more than 10% of the time. I haven't watched him in detail so maybe he's locating it well, but generally you need to switch up speeds more often to be successful.

He'll be interesting to keep an eye on, but usually major leaguers catch up. For instance Michael Pineda was a two-pitch starting pitcher. He had a much better fastball than Cingrani (94-95 mph) and great location. He also had a slider he threw a ton, but that was it. He started out 2011 with an ERA under 3, but in the second half of the season it ballooned and he ended almost at 4. You need to throw a lot of off-speed stuff to be consistently successful.

Why send Price out to pitch the 7th here? He's all over the place today.

He's only walked two batters, just given up a lot of contact. Has the Rays bullpen been ravaged recently?

Kevin Correia having another good outing for the Twins. 5-0, and the Twins are still threatening
